Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Not yet reviewed by counsel. This page was drafted to describe how Provenance Capital actually operates, but it is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a New York attorney. Have counsel review this page, the terms of use, and the disclosures before launch — particularly the licensing analysis and TCPA/consent language.
This policy explains what Provenance Capital (“we,” “us”) collects when you use this site or submit a financing request, how we use it, and who we share it with. Provenance Capital is a lender directory and introduction service — we are not a lender or a mortgage broker. See our licensing & disclosures page.
Provenance Capital is a brand operated by KUROGIRI LLC, a New York limited liability company.
Information we collect
When you submit a financing request, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number — only if you provide one and separately consent to calls or texts. Without that consent we discard the number before storing your request; see “Your phone number” below.
- Deal details — loan amount, loan type, property type, borough, funding timeline, and any message you add
- A self-reported credit score range that you select from a list
- Your affirmation that the financing is for a business, commercial, or investment purpose, and — if given — the exact wording of the call/text consent you agreed to
- Which page the request came from, so we know what you were looking at
We also receive standard technical data your browser sends (IP address, user agent) and basic hosting logs.
What we deliberately do not collect
We do notask for and do not want your Social Security number, date of birth, bank account or card numbers, tax returns, or financial statements. We do not pull your credit report and do not run a credit check — the credit range on our form is a range you pick yourself, not a verified score. Nothing on this site is a loan application. If a lender needs that information, you will provide it to the lender directly, under the lender's own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To match your request to a lender in our network whose criteria it fits
- To introduce you to that lender and let them contact you
- To contact you about your request
- To keep a record of your business-purpose affirmation
- To measure and improve how the site works
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies for basic site function. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising-measurement tools — Google Analytics and Google Ads — to understand how visitors find and use the site and whether our ads work.
These load only if you acceptthe cookie banner. If you decline, they are not loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. We do not use these tools to identify you personally, and we do not sell the data they generate. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
How we share your information
We share your request with one capital partner — the lender, fund, or investor holding the territory that matches your borough, loan program, and deal size. Your request is not broadcast to a list of buyers and is not resold. That partner then contacts you directly and handles your information under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing. We may share it with service providers who operate the site on our behalf (hosting, database, email delivery), and where required by law.
Your phone number
The phone field is optional, and we treat it differently from everything else on the form.
- We ask separately, in a box that is unchecked by default, whether you consent to being called or texted about your request.
- That consent is never a condition of getting matched, or of obtaining financing from anyone. You get the same introduction either way.
- If you don't consent, we don't keep the number. It is discarded before your request is saved, so it never reaches our database and never reaches the capital partner. Follow-up is email only.
- If you do consent, we store the number along with the exact disclosure wording you agreed to, so there's a clear record of what you approved.
You can withdraw consent at any time — reply STOP to a text, tell the partner directly, or email us. We'll remove the number on request.
Communications and consent
By submitting the form, you agree that we and the capital partner we introduce you to may email you about the request you made. Calls and texts require the separate consent described above.
You can opt out at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to a text, or email us at the address below. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary messages about a request already in progress.
How long we keep it
We retain financing requests for as long as needed to make and support the introduction, and afterward to keep records of consent and the business-purpose affirmation. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing privacy@provenancecapital.nyc. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. A request to delete does not reach data already in the hands of a lender you were introduced to — contact that lender directly.
Security
Requests are transmitted over TLS and stored in an access-controlled database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — which is part of why we collect as little as we do.
